I don’t know which investing choices are right for me.

Context

As lead content designer on project and 1st content design hire in Capital One’s Seattle HQ, I:

• Designed investing experience to meet the needs of a non-traditional investing client

• Launched refreshed questionnaire as a proof of concept for financial wellness app that includes saving, spending goals and robo-advisor

Work included co-led ideation and iteration sessions with designer, iterative user research activities, and partnership with product manager and sprint team to move product from innovation to build phases.

Impact

• Piloted content-first design with UXR framework and validated proof of concept with user signal

• Gained UX advocacy seat at the regulatory table

• Upleveled UX team rigor through content-driven process, which was adopted by other teams

• Avoided required questionnaire as a conversion blocker
